Player Spotlight; Lil'man

   Lil'man is the most decorated BlackCell menber and with good reason. He has a Mercenary mentality that's just hard to beat. While the smallest team member in size he has a heart as big as evilelvis's gut or Murphy's backside. Lil'man as we call him has quickly become the "Go to Guy" for any kind of mission we need. His size, speed and his guts make him the right guy for the mission time after time. Of course having your mother as back up is a plus.

   Equiped with a Tippmann/US Army Carver One that the Members of BlackCell gave him he takes the field everytime making his way to the thick of the fight or getting props or acomplishing missions.

Tombstone 2012, Pistolero Justice and new Blood

May 6th we hit the field. Evilelvis was casted as general for the Lawdogs as Wyatt Earp and XxX lead the team while I lead the Lawdogs. QueenB recieved a new fancy medic arm band and 5poppa, lil man, Shark and Spartan rounded up the team. We had Shark's friend Jason, Yamil and Jacob who came out to run with the Gun Crew. Spartan took a nasty shot to the cheek and was down for the rest of the event. 5poppa got lit up for trying to surrender someone and BlackCell showed prowless and that we own the deep woods. At the end of the event Yamil or Smoke and Jason became the newest team members.

Lawdogs came out winning in the end due to missions & trivia but it was a hard fought day. The Cowboys took the fight to us time and time. It made for a spectacular event. I was awarded a Leadership award for the Lawdogs and lil'man scored another Sportsmanship award for his dedicated play and fearless attacking of objectives.

Well it's time to shake off the winter blues and get back into some CoD; Revolutionary War Warfare. With Airsports Paintball's March 1 day scenario game. We played this game last year and it should be a blast. From the opening salvos with two ranks of troops marching towards each other untill one side is eliminated to the close quarter combat arround the village Boston Massacre has something for everyone. Don't forget to pre-reg is only $25.

After Action Report: Operation Dawn of the Dead

     Dawn of the Dead, was a great sucess. BlackCell team members evilelvis, xXx, QueenB, LilMan and Shark attended. We where placed in the Hordes of the undead and we hit the field gunning. The weather was perfect cool and sunny. AirSports paintball's BYOP and free self serve airfills made this a inexpensive and enjoyable event as usual. We hit the field hard sending Lil Man and evilelvis' nephew quickly as a fast recon force colecting the props the missions required while we Slug it out with the remains of Humanity across the Casino, Village and the paint burner "speedball alley". Game was pretty close only to have the fate of the Undead sealed in the last Mission where the humans where able to make an Airdrop and score enough points to just edge out the Hordes of the Undead. xXx perfected his Pistol elimination skills with two Pistol point surrenders and QueenB got her best side shot out. evilelvis managed to shoot the same 4 guys 3 times in the row bearly ten feet from the last position I ambushed them at and of course xXx killed himself with his own grenade.

    

Dawn of the Dead 3 the scenario game that won't die...

A freak Halloween Nor'easter wasn't able to stop this 8 hour game. Now with the region crawling back to life BlackCell Paintball most hardcore players are taking on the storm ravaged field to battle either the hordes of the Undead or the last Humans. Looks like xXx, Queen B, lil'man, Shark and evilelvis will represent the cell. Stay tuned for after action reports.

Weltober!

It's that time of the year again for Fall Paintball. After the humid- hot Correy Lind game it's going to be nice to play in the cool Fog-free fall weather. Next up is the Dawn of the Dead 3 game at Airsports. Looking forward to a nice turn out. Specially looking forward to lighting people up with the Phenom. Elite Paintball is closing down next week leaving the area with 2 paintball shops Point Blank and the Paintball King. They are having a closing sale Thursday-till Saturday. So snag up some swag before they are gone for ever. I want to start implementing small unit tactics and formations now that we have worked on our individual skills through the year. Clean your damned guns, oil them and hope you been rotating your paint or have fresh paint ready. It's going to be a blast.

Zombie Land, Oct 30th 2011

Our next deployment is Oct 30th at our defacto Home Base, Airsports Paintball in Ludlow Ma. So let's make sure someone school's Spartan on land navigation since I-90 east exit 6, take a right and wait till you see the Airsports PB sign, is too complicated. Maybe show him the Navigation App on his fancy Driod phone. This game is BYOP so we can burn all the paint we had left over from all the events this year. I expect a full showing well haze the boots that don't show up. Think xXX is dressing up like a Zombie Ballerina. So should be fun.

Hunt for Lost Vegas 2010

Great event, Blackcell operatives, evilelvis, Happy Feet, xXx, Murphy and Shark hit the field. Gunning for a great cause we engaged in many many paint heavy slug outs. Great reffing and a great event made for an awesome day of paintball. Kudos to the staff at airsports for a great Sunday of paintball.

Looks like QueenB was running swimming and doing everything but shooting people. 5poppa was MIA and of course Spartan was abducted by aliens and probed in every orifice about twenty times or so we hear. Pics and a game after action report coming soon!

Phyton/iFit kit the field trial results.

So I finally got to field test the phyton/iFit kit. While using crap heat formula 13 paint I was able to underbore the paint by two inserts. Allowing me to use the smallest sizer with no breaks and a small spread at Max range.

I was able to shoot from the hill infront if the castle to the back row woodfence bunker house. This also helped me to get better efficiency out my 72/3G tank. So in conclusion it's a sound investment. The phyton kit cones with 4 dozers while the techT kit comes with 6 or 9 inserts. The better the fit the more accurate the ball is going to be. For it's simplicity and value I recommend the phyton/iFit kit

After action report, Corey Lind memorial game

BlackCell paintball rolled into Camelot Paintball for the Corey Lind memorial game. BlackCell operatives evilelvis, 5poppa, queenB, lil man, XxX, happy feet, Murphy and Spartan showed up. We hit the field at ten and where split into two squads with sone walk on players. Game was attack and defend the castle. Murphy dominated and XxX was taking a nap.

More teams rolled in and the battle got good after that. Several good battles XxX found his inner ninja and got 4 battle tags. QueenB got knee capped by her son. Lil man was given a gun in behalf of all the BlackCell crew for his birthday. I think Freddy chronoed his Slingshot at 145fps.

At our last game our resident Team Squid Murphy showed his uncanny talent for painful neck shots. He started with Happy Feet and finished with some poor walk on. He also dominated on the defense. Successfully defending the castle against a greater number of attackers in the first game of the day. It's good to see the Old Breed take center stage.

In related team news we still don't know where XxX's gat is.

SitRep: SNAFU

Well we had to cancel the BlackDiamond VS the World game due to my home being destroyed by the Tornado of June 1st. I would like to personally thank all the BlackCell members who stepped up with help and offers of help. You guys are awesome. My gear is safe and I'll be ready for the July game. See you on the filed.

New Blood, same warrior spirit...

BlackCell paintball would like to welcome our newest members. Shark, Carrot Top, QueenB and lil'man (code name pending) to our ranks. You all played some stand up paintball last game. Now after getting hazed at the next event you will be full fledged killers.

Tombstone After Action Report

Tombstone was a great success I played the role of Johnny Ringo and our own Murphy ended laying down the law as the Sherriff. We took the field in a sunny great day. Temperatures where about mid 70's a perfect day for paintball. BlackCell took the field with all members, Spartan, Murphy, HappyFeet, Bad Mojo, xXx, 5poppa and myself along with new BlackCell recruits CarrotTop and Shark. Also along with us was a good friend and health nut Betty and her son Armando "Lil Man".

From the get go our side with had 24 players (counting 4 who had never played before) took on the Lawdags and their 20 players. From the get go BlackCell along with local teams the Creed and Psycho Soldiers started to roll through missions collecting all the gold from the mines as other Game artifacts stashing them in our HQ. Some great fire fights and some great fire and manuever lead to us sweeping the field at Airsports a couple of times. Sans the noon shoot out where the Red leadership where put in the open while the Law Dogs had plenty of cover for a one on one western shootout.

Our own Murphy used those Navy skills to grill us some great Kielbasas and Beef Franks and after resting and hydrating and loading and gasing up BlackCell and guests took on the field. But in the end not even that could hold back the Red Swarm and the Cowboys took victory at Tombstone. Our team guests Armando "lil Man" took game MVP and his mother Betty took the Sportsmanship Award. After Tombstone our size grew to ten players. So far it's looking to be a great season.
